Blank and the art of blank. For instance, today's would have been Fear and the Art of Keeping Going. The Creative Life and the Art of Morning Pages. Clarity and The Art of the Oxford Comma. You get my drift.

I like! I'll play around with it. Also thank you for mentioning the Oxford comma. That might make a great short bit. I am a big fan of the Oxford comma.

Love this idea for a new series! And LOL the past perfect. Guilty. 😂 Love that quote from Dune, too. I think I need to post that right above my desk.

I'm definitely posting the quote above my desk! Thanks for reading and commenting.

I really like “I’ve been thinking about…” It feels like a page turner to me and it represents how our minds work. But I’ll enjoy reading no matter what the title! Hugs to you ♥️

Thanks for the input. Now that I've seen it live for a bit I'm liking it better myself. And hugs right back to you!

When I walked into my new office as a child therapist, there was one item left behind on a bookshelf: The Artist’s Way. It’s a classic, and I’m grateful to the kind soul who left it behind. Also, I hung the excerpt from Dune you shared next to my counseling door. Great minds think alike, Charlotte! Congrats on your new approach to whipping us into shape as great writers!

Wow, finding that book was a huge synchronistic moment! And that's so cool about the Dune quote. I read the book years ago and I'm sure I was impressed with the quote then, but I didn't remember it until I saw that Insta! Great minds do think alike!

Funny, I had to look up past perfect to be sure I knew what it was. I know I never learned this in any English class and the only reason it doesn’t scare me is because I learned in French class! Learning a foreign language has taught me more about my own language than any English ever did.

As far as I can recall, you are an excellent user of the past perfect! And honestly, your comment that learning a foreign language taught you more about English deserves an essay of its own!
