Read, enjoyed, and shared on social media...as usual. ;-) Yeah, I agree: Life is waaaaaaay too short to be worrying about things that don't need worrying about. I worry about things like the emotional and physical wellbeing of my family and friends...and even a bit for the world. But that's about it. So much of everything is out of my control. Haters are gonna hate and judge. They can do their thing, and I'll do my thing, which is pretty much what I want...which is to leave a positive mark on this rock before I stop rotating around the sun with it. Happy writing! Oh, I like the Open Office Hours idea. I'll try and pop in some Friday and say hello. ;-)
Can I get an amen? [thx to RuPaul btw] Ms. Charlotte, this is my favorite post of yours so far and you know I'm a fan. I'm all for banishing the "worry wart" for the summer ... for forever. Worrying is so exhausting and ridiculous and what's more--it doesn't DO or CHANGE anything. On the other hand, leaning into love is the most powerful thing in the universe imho. In fact, I suspect that all those layers of worry about whatever keep our authentic selves hidden from us. What a soft place to land when we can stop worrying even for a second and just know that we're enough. THANK YOU for putting that all in words. Also, less veggies, more cupcakes.
When I realized what had happened last night, I thought this post might be too light and frothy. But maybe it's what the world needs now...as in the old song. I do know for sure we need more love!
And yes to more cupcakes. And turtles! And also...rice krispy treats! I have one I impulse bought at WF yesterday and I think its time I consumed it.

So important to remember to control what we can and let go of the rest!
And I do hope you'll pop into the open office hours.
Yessssssssssss! Thank you. xoxo

I'm so glad it resonated, Jacqueline!
