Hi Mark, I'm glad you stumbled on my blog and hooray for wanting to write a book. I'm glad you like the idea of prompts. I think Tumblr is a pain, too, so I recently had the idea of copying and pasting the prompts I did there into new posts here. If I just transfer them, they won't be categorized--I haven't figure out how to do that yet! Still new here! Thanks for connecting.

Your blog is GREAT! I now only write once a week and spend a bit more time polishing instead of stream of consciousness. I am SURE I will give a few of the prompts a try and see where that might lead to a post.

While not important to me, I believe Substack has some built-in tools and utilities to import all sorts of publishing platforms including Tumblr. When I want to do something on Substack, I often just look on YouTube for a how-to

It is funny what we find when we pivot to look. I joined Substack about 18 months ago to follow a writer I enjoyed. I dreamed of finally writing a book I thought of writing in retirement and joined a creative writiing group. I have been writing steady for a while but the idea of a prompt is EXCITING to me. Will perhaps give this a try if I can overcome the resistance to another account (TUMBLR) -- thanks
