Nobody is going to do your marketing.
Nobody is going to do your social media.
Nobody is going to do your mindset work.
Nobody is going to do your foundational practices.
And most of all, nobody is going to do your writing for you.
Yeah, I know. You can hire people — at least for the first two. And I’m sure they will do a lovely, wonderful job — as long as you do the upfront work of communicating who you are and how you want to be presented. So, yeah, there’s going to be some work involved.
But the last pieces are all on you.
You need to do the mindset work of staying positive, believing you can accomplish what you dream about, knowing you’ve come here to do mighty things.
You need to do your foundational practices — the things that help you to be a productive writer or creative. Things like meditation, exercise, eating whole foods, self-care.
And most important of all, you need to do the writing. Absolutely nobody can do that for you. Yes, you can hire a ghostwriter, but, again, there’s still a lot of upfront work involved. (I know — part of how I earn my living is as a ghostwriter.)
This may sound daunting, but the process of attaining success is. And it is also exhilarating, joyous, engrossing, and satisfying. You’re going to be living your days anyway, why not do the work to make your life into the success you want?
Because nobody can do it but you.
